Aerial Hoop

Classes run weekly including bank holidays! We only close the studio for 2 weeks over Christmas.

We will be social distancing and have halved the aerial hoop classes, so the maximum amount of students in a class will be 6 with 4 hoops over 35 minutes instead of 70 minutes. Students are only allowed to share a hoop if they live together or are in the same bubble. Please read our COVID-19 Policy on our FAQs page before emailing to book in.

How to Book and Pay

To book yourself in to start hoop classes, firstly contact us to see if there is space at your level. If you wish to start in a class above beginner level, please give a little bit of detail about your aerial experience when you send your message. Emily or one of her team will get back to you to book you in at the right level.

Once you are booked in, you need to pay a deposit of one lesson in advance by clicking on the PayPal button in the Book In section below. You do not need a PayPal account to pay for your classes – most credit and debit cards are accepted by the PayPal service. Your booking is not secure until your deposit is paid.

All students need to pay a deposit in advance when booking in for the first time.

There are 3 different payment choices that you can make at the beginning or end of your first class at the studio:

  • Drop In Student – If you can’t attend a regular weekly class then you can email each time you would like to book in and you will always need to pay online using the PayPal button to secure your space.
  • Pay As You Go Student – If you would like to attend a regular weekly class then you can PAYG but you will always need to pay one lesson in advance. Your deposit is advance payment for your first lesson, at the end of your first class you will need to pay another £15 in cash or by card to secure your space for the following week. There are no PayPal weekly payment options. We take cash or card at the studio only for regular PAYG students. You’ll continue to pay one lesson cash / card in advance until you decide to stop classes (if you ever do want to stop!), and then your last lesson with us will be prepaid.
  • Pay Monthly Student – If you would like to attend a regular weekly class then you have the option to pay monthly at the studio in cash, card or online by BACS at the start of every month. There are no PayPal monthly payment options. If you choose to pay monthly then you will save £1 per class. All pay monthly students will still have to pay their deposit in advance which is technically your first class payment upfront. When you pay at the studio for the whole month, the first class of each month will still be included in your monthly payment. If you decide to stop lessons then you can use your deposit payment for your last lesson.

Notice period

We require at least 48 hours’ notice by email only ( if you can’t make a lesson or you forfeit your deposit / lesson payment. If we receive enough notice then your payment will simply roll over to the following week / month. Your deposit and monthly class payments are non-refundable. If you need to stop classes then we can hold any you have left for when you return.

About Lessons

Lessons begin with a fun dance / aerobic warm up, followed by learning tricks, poses and positions in the aerial hoop (like the ones in the video at the bottom of this page), then we finish with a cool down, consisting of stretches and strengthening exercises. Please read the FAQs to find out what is suitable to wear during lessons.

Aerial hoop does take a lot of upper body strength, but complete beginners are always welcome! Very few people start out with the upper body strength to lift themselves easily into the hoop, but you will build up your strength over time, learning tricks and poses step-by-step. Whatever your ability level, the instructor will be able to help you get into the hoop and start achieving things you never thought you could!

Each class is so much fun and I no longer hate exercising! Hoop and pole are the best ways to exercise for me and I have finally found confidence in myself. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and the instructors are so supportive and they inspire me each week to be stronger. I have gained so much strength since starting at Emily’s Pole Fitness but it has also helped with my anxiety, as I never would have stepped foot into a new class on my own but now I know that it is a safe place with wonderful people.

Hoop / Circus Parties

A party at Emily’s Pole Fitness is a private session where you and your friends will have the instructor’s whole attention. Sessions are between 70 and 90 minutes long, depending on how many people are attending. The price is £25 per person, and a 2-person deposit (£50) is required to secure the booking. The studio will be decorated for you. Your session will begin with a fun warm up, you will then get to know the equipment, and learn some moves suitable for complete beginners with plenty of photo opportunities. At the end, all participants will receive a certificate. Ideal for hen parties, birthdays, work dos and all other celebrations!

Contact us to enquire about booking. When Emily has confirmed a date and time with you, please use the PayPal button below to pay your 2-person deposit (£50) to secure your booking.

Private Lessons

Private lessons can be arranged with Emily, Mel, Leah or Azaria at a time convenient for you, as long as it doesn’t clash with a class that is already running. A private lessons costs £45 for an hour for one person, or £22.50 per person for two people or more, to be paid in cash directly to the instructor at the beginning of your lesson.

To arrange a private lesson, get in touch and let us know which instructor you’d like a private lesson with – we’ll get back to you to arrange a mutually convenient time. If you are a new student, please prepay for your private session using the PayPal button below to secure the booking.
