Aerial hoop lessons

About lessons
Lessons begin with a 10 minute fun dance / aerobic warm up, followed by learning tricks, poses and positions in the aerial hoop (like the ones in the video at the bottom of this page), then we finish with a cool down, consisting of stretches and strengthening exercises. Please read the FAQs to find out what is suitable to wear during lessons.

Aerial hoop does take a lot of upper body strength, but complete beginners are always welcome! Very few people start out with the upper body strength to lift themselves easily into the hoop, but you will build up your strength over time, learning tricks and poses step-by-step. Whatever your ability level, the instructor will be able to help you get into the hoop and start achieving things you never thought you could!

How to book and pay

To book yourself in to start hoop classes, firstly contact us to see if there is space at your level. If you wish to start in a class above beginner level, please give a little bit of detail about your aerial experience when you send your message. Emily or one of her team will get back to you to book you in at the right level.

Once you are booked in, you need to pay in advance for the 4-week course using the PayPal button below. You do not need a PayPal account to pay your deposit – most credit and debit cards are accepted by the PayPal service. New student bookings are not secure until paid for, although established students may pay cash directly to their instructor in the first lesson of each course. Group bookings

A group booking is a private session where you and your friends will have the instructor's whole attention. Sessions are one hour long and for 2-7 people. The price is £20 per person.

Contact us to enquire about booking.

Private lessons

Private lessons can be arranged with Emily, Leah, Mel or Azaria at a time convenient for you, as long as it doesn't clash with a class that is already running. A private lessons costs £40 for an hour for one person, or £20 per person for two people or more (a group booking), to be paid in cash directly to the instructor at the beginning of your lesson. To arrange a private lesson, get in touch and let us know which instructor you'd like a private lesson with – we'll get back to you to arrange a mutually convenient time.

Private / group deposit (£40)

If you'd like a group booking or a private lesson, please contact us to arrange it. Once the date is booked in and the details all confirmed, please use the PayPal button below to pay in advance for your private lesson (new students only – existing students pay cash on arrival), or pay the £40 (2 person) deposit for your group booking (again, new students only).
